what's happening?!

I know we are hot of the trail after an outstanding CofC in New Orleans, and are anxious to get all the info on Next year, but PLEASE give the host club some time to get their website ready with all the needed information for everyone.

Once they do we will update the councilofcouncils.com link to point to their new website, and we will let you all know that it is up and ready.

There is PLENTY of time before anyone needs to start panicking, so please, sit tight, and don't harass the host club for information (it's barely been 2 weeks!)

weekend update!

I would like to thank Vintage Chevy Van Council for an OUTSTANDING job (again) hosting council of councils this year. Everything went off without a hitch and the weather was amazing! There were 2 bids for next year, Norway and Seattle, and the vote was in favor of Seattle for 2019. We are really hopeful the nordic van council will come back with another bid in the future. the CofC link will be updated once the guys at northwest van council have their page up and running, so please, stay tuned for more information.

it's not just up to us...

There are two websites where you can always find the latest information from the host and the board: • Councilofcouncils.ORG (this page) is the board page, where reps and host clubs can get information about the upcoming event, hosting a CofC, becoming a council, and keeping your council information up to date with the CofC board. • Councilofcouncils.COM is the host page, where everyone attending can get information on the hotel, meeting schedules, activities, etc.
This information is always available on Vanning.com in a permanent, pinned post/topic. Vanning.com also has links back to the above sites to make them easy to find.

All council reps should be looking to these pages for information and updates, you can't rely on just Facebook for your information. Facebook is constantly messing with how page posts appear in your news feed, because they think they know what's best for you, and they want us to pay for you to see our updates, so just because it doesn't appear in your feed, doesn't mean it wasn't posted. We need council reps/officers need to be proactive and take the information they find on those pages and share it with their councils so that everyone else is informed, we can't do it alone.

This ensures they have an accurate count and can make sure they have enough goodie bags, wrist bands, and large enough rooms for meetings and entertainment
